Hilda's Happings
Update 2000

I am happy to report that Snickers is in action again. After not using him all last year due to lameness, and he did not improve at all through the winter and I could see he was in a great deal of pain I had resorted myself to putting him down. I came across an ad in the Pacific Horse for Equine Endall Renewal, which is a product with MSM and Glucosamine and Grape Seed (antioxidant). After 2 weeks on the product Snickers looked considerably better and in 1 month he was bucking, something I had not seen in many years. The other day (5 weeks since starting the product) he did a whole small jump course and is now completely sound. He just seemed to come alive. I have since become the distributor for this product that also has a small animal division so it can be used on cats and dogs as well. So if you have an animal with age-related degenerative conditions such as Arthritis, Allergies, Asthma, Auto-immunity as well as founder please contact me. I have since put another 5 horses on the product with similar results and intend to do another 5, as a lot of my horses are getting older and need a little assistance to stay sound.

We have been doing a lot of work on the ranch. We just recently put in a lunge ring to help train and exercise the horses as well as students. We cleared the ground in the tack up area and are fencing it for the minis and also have included an area for a couple of lambs and a pygmy goat. Just bought 500 more rails for fencing repairs, and on and on, so you can see why I haven't been updating this site as often as I should. I just broke down and finally bought a ride on lawn mower just to make life a little simpler.

Keep up the correspondence. I like to hear what my students are up to.

Sincerely,
Hilda

The newest additions to our herd are; a quarter horse named Dakota - Bay - 15.3 hh, another quarter horse named Caroline - chestnut - 15 hh, Myra - thoroughbred - 16 hh. We sold Rowdy, Herb and Snazzy. Herb just wasn't going to make it as a camp horse, Rowdy was not too athletic in the jumping and Snazzy was sold to a women who just wanted a quiet trail horse. Also new on the farm are 2 mini's. A mini horse approximately 30 inches named Tamara and a mini donkey named Lolita. Too bad we can't get her bray at a certain time as that would make a perfect wake-up call as well as a dinner call. You certainly couldn't miss it. Tamara is having a baby any day and I was hoping it was going to be last weekend on Mothers Day but perhaps she is waiting for tonight as it is a full moon and we all know about full moons.
